1. Keep your good build saved
Write down the MyPLAYER, jump shot, shooting mode, important values, console, and controller that worked. Leave one saved build untouched.
2. Check your Hub, not a random download
Sign in to EmberZens Hub with your checkout email and open My Scripts. Compare the available Rift file and its instructions with the file you installed. Lifetime Rift updates are part of the listed purchase package. A game update alone does not prove that a new script file is required; check the actual release notice.
3. Decide which problem you have
If the Zen or controller is not detected, check the connection, active slot and supported installation instructions first. If normal controls work but shot feedback changed, confirm the same MyPLAYER, jumper, shooting mode and saved profile. If your usual shots still work, leave the values alone. Do not change hardware, shot timing and dribble settings together.
4. Tune the field that matches the feedback
For Auto-Green, confirm BUTTON or RHYTHM before adjusting Auto Green MS. Tempo MS is a separate field. In Value Finder, report EARLY / EXCELLENT / LATE for Auto-Green or FAST / EXCELLENT / SLOW for Tempo. Use the same build and jumper, follow the prompts, then choose SAVE MS when ready. A Finder result still needs a check in the mode you play.
5. Keep a small before-and-after record
Write down the game update, Rift file name, console, controller, jumper, shooting mode, profile and timing values. Record makes, misses and the feedback from comparable attempts before and after the change. Keep your original build untouched so you can switch back. A short hot streak is not enough to label a whole patch fixed.
When to ask for setup help
Send support that record plus a short clip showing the menu and the problem. Say whether the issue is installation, missing controls or shot feedback. This is more useful than only saying the script stopped working. Rift’s Hub, tutorials and support are a key part of why it is the #1 pick for players who want help after checkout.
