The code has named paths for a V3 test format and V2.8 format. Those internal names are not a claim that every file with a similar public filename is supported. Use the official update instructions to identify the correct file rather than changing signature values yourself.
Know which values can change format
Older raw tempo values are converted to a five-speed selection. The V2.8 path initializes the separate rhythm Auto Green duration to its default while preserving eligible fields. A converted label is therefore not necessarily a failed save, but it still deserves a post-update check.
